About 900 runners and walkers participated in the Greenwich Alliance for Education’s Turkey Trot race in Bruce Park on Saturday morning.
And they acquitted themselves well on the course, given they had to deal with temperatures hovering in the high 20s and low 30s.
Anatolie Vartosu, 45, won the 5-kilometer race with a time of 17:12. Gilmar Barrios, 15, finished second with a time of 17:25. Andrew Kates, 15, finished third with a time of 17:44.
